More Glam Wrapping

Some more of my prezzies GLAM WRAPPED ! So absolutely enjoyed gift wrapping at this time of the year. I do have a hard time wrapping anything that doesn't come in a box though, so I was stumped when it came to the cylindrical shapes. Some I wrapped as bonbons and some trimmed with ball ribbon.....they turned out alright. When the recepients say, "I don't want to open it as its too pretty to spoil" then I know I got it right !

Loving..........the time with my kids, I was so busy before with my corporate job stressing about other people's problems that it took away from my home life. Now I get to hear their school stories first hand and discovering that both my girls have a great sense of humor!

Wanting........this ice to melt away, the ice storm caused such havoc leaving some of my dear friends without power over Christmas day

Sometimes you do not expect to find something in that shop..............never ever expect it ! So when I walked into my local Walmart and saw these amazing grey cage heels, I was completely blown away. I was super excited and then noticed they were on SALE too ! (guess the locals do not like cage heels! - better for me).

Kendi started off with a BLOG and now she runs her own clothing store. If you had to ask me three years ago what would I be doing? I would say working at my corporate job (where I worked for 18 years and thought it would be the header on my tombstone).....but here I am three years later running my own Online Vintage / Handmade Clothing store. I swear to you I did not see this coming. I have always loved fashion.........my University friends tell me I was always designing clothes for them.........so Fashion is what I live and breathe. But to think I would actually be running my own thing, having an outlet for my own designs and ideas, working in Fashion on a daily basis............WOW..................and when I stop to think about it - I am so so grateful. Everyday I wake up and cannot believe I am doing this. Working for myself, running my own show, 'creating' every single moment.............which is really all I want to do. CREATE.

Reading this article was so inspiring for me...........how she set up, what her day looks like, how she manages the shop and the blog. When I grow up I want to be just like her.

Can you tell I love Glam Wrapping.... as I call it !  Christmas is my favorite time of the year as I get to glam wrap ! I bring out all my guns............ribbon (which I have tons of ), paper (I have nowhere to store the many rolls), feathers, pearls, stickers, embellishments...........and the list goes on!

My family thinks I am really cuckoo because I refuse to give a gift card - not much to wrap there. I will only buy and present things that come in boxes SO I CAN GLAM WRAP ! They might be right there but hey its my small pleasure.
