Rachel Zoe Fall 2012 collection

I have always liked Rachel Zoe's style - the long dresses, the fur coats...very Bohemian and edgy. Her collection definitely lives up to her name. These are some of my favorite pieces from her Fall 2012 collection, my favorite being the first look - cropped sweater with lace skirt - just the right doses of Bohemian and Rocker in one look! Which is your favorite look?

Jalabiya - Arabic Women Dress

Jalabiya

SHOP HERE

I have just listed this item in the shop and I find it so beautifully made. The bell sleeves with the gorgeous green embroidery, the tiny buttons down the middle, the lace edging everywhere, the slits....everything about it is well designed. The funny thing is - while I lived in the Middle East (Dubai and Bahrain) for 15 years I never purchase this garment and then coming here to Canada I fall in love with it. The Arab women wear the Jalabiya on a daily basis and it can range from a simple silk Jalabiya to something fully embroidered and sequined. Check out the shop for more new items listed.

Just after I posted the Robert Cavalli runway dresses I spotted this beautiful dress and uploaded it in the shop today. It reminded me so much of the dresses on yesterdays post. Isn't it just gorgeous - the lace detailing at the neckline, the tie at the hip with tassle ends..........the tassles at the hem..............oh dear.......serious love for this! Check the shop for more dresses uploaded today.

Screen Printing Rig

This is the single color single station screen printing rig the husband has been working on this weekend. Its a contraption that is spring loaded thereby allowing for the screen to return to its original position. He made it from parts he had lying around in his shed and total cost for gizmo is $15 (which was mainly for the turnbuckle and springs). I'm the luckiest gal in the world! Thank you baby!

First Tee drying

Bella looking ultra cool in my first printed Tee
My first set of Tshirts have been loaded in the shop - woohoo !!
Thats my husband monitoring the exposure - he helped with all the technicalities which is pretty much everything. Eventually I will learn to do this on my own but for now I am totally going to use him. The first design I picked was this bull skull - I am obsessed with skulls right now. Today we are working on a dream catcher design. I love how the Tees have turned out - they are so cool ! what do you think??

Will I ever tire of Kimonos ?

A Beautiful Sunday

Add caption
Just back from Sunday mass and its an incredibly beautiful day for February. Its warm at 3c and bright and sunny - so unlike a normal February day. I hope this means Spring will come early..............

Wearing my new pleather pants from H&M with my husband's old faded Denim shirt. I think I need a better pair of black heels - something more chunky.

Recycled Displays warehouse in Toronto

As I mentioned earlier our visit to 'Recycled Displays' was like a treasure hunt - here are some pics from the warehouse. So many mannequins to choose from................my kids were spooked out........
This was just one of the many rooms filled with mannequins

They were in every shape, size and color - even gold ones. I was spoilt for choice but I think 'Bella' was the right one - she worked out just fine.
